  1. Domain and start

    Shellui begins as an open-source microfrontend shell. The shellui.com domain was registered on January 5.

  2. Proof of concept

    The shell runs end to end with navigation, authentication, admin, and storage. Development moves to full time.

  3. Pixel Perfect

    Host and admin UI share one visual system across screens. This is the current release.

Upcoming

Planned releases. Dates are targets, not commitments.

  1. Smart Shell

    Model Context Protocol (MCP) admin in the shell. Local AI for apps in the iframe: on-device and shell-local models through the SDK and the Settings AI panel.

  2. Marketplace

    A catalog to discover and install microfrontend apps into a Shellui instance.

  3. Horizon

    Stable release: the shipping shell is feature-complete, with APIs you can pin.
